Newbuild Window Fixing Systems - Coalville Glass & Glazing Co Ltd

Our range includes a variety of fixing systems to accommodate traditional building practices and to comply with the latest Building Regulations.

All have been developed through close co-operation with house building companies. Many of the problems inherent in other products have been addressed leading to systems that are technically superior in terms of their ease of use, reliability and performance.

The Sheerframe Subframe/Cavity Closer...
... performs four separate functions:

it acts as a template for the bricklayer
it seals and insulates the cavity opening
it provides a d.p.c. around the window reveal
it acts as a simple fixing system for the finished glazed window

The subframe/cavity closer is built in by the bricklayer. It acts as a template and automatically seals and insulates the cavity opening whilst providing a d.p.c.

Pre-glazed windows are either fitted from the inside.....

... or the outside of the building. Special cleats secure the window to the subframe. The integral gasket on the subframe creates a mechanical break to water penetration.

Silicon sealant is used to seal the window to the brickwork. Each window can be fitted in just a few minutes.
