Market leading customer service, backed by a complete fenestration package and a unique newbuild pledge, is helping window and door fabricator and installer Coalville Glass to build on its 2015 success as it fulfils a £4m order pipeline with housebuilders across the midlands.
The company reported a record year for 2014/2015 as its partnership with PVC-U systems manufacturer Eurocell opened up significant growth opportunities to tender for contracts that they previously had limited access to. With profile purchases doubling since they started fabricating Eurocell systems, the upward sales and profitability trend at Coalville Glass is evident through turnover growth of 15% in the last financial year.
Already in 2016, Coalville Glass has secured contracts to supply and install windows and doors for 25 new housing sites for six different builders across the South, East and West Midlands. The products being manufactured for these sites suits Coalville’s capability perfectly, including bi-fold doors and a wide range of colours for contemporary and traditional architecture.
In addition to working with the regional divisions of the national housebuilders, Coalville is strengthening its long standing relationships with leading regional builders who have a track record for a premium offer.
Ray Whitehorn at Coalville Glass & Glazing says: “The housebuilding market across the midlands is gaining momentum, and having an excellent reputation in this market has enabled us to quickly capitalise on the opportunities and grow.
“With new sites coming on line at an increasing rate, we’re seeing strong demand for windows and doors that tick all the boxes in terms of energy performance, visual appeal, longevity and consistency across numerous styles. Our window-making expertise and newbuild pledge, coupled with the technical excellence of Eurocell systems, is ensuring we service this market well and maintain our competitive edge.”
Established in 1973, Coalville Glass remains a family owned and managed business employing more than 65 people. In addition to its work with the housebuilding sector, the company is a key local supplier to the door and window trade and serves a loyal and growing local consumer base.
